Antonius Richard Rusli – Kurator ARCH:ID 2025

1 min read

As one of the three Chief Curators for ARCH:ID 2025, the most anticipated annual architecture forum and trade event in Indonesia, Antonius Richard Rusli (Founder of RAD+ar) was responsible for leading the curation of the fifth edition, centered on the theme ‘Performative Archipelagos.’

Alongside two other distinguished curators, Antonius Richard Rusli ensured the event, held from May 8–11, 2025, at ICE BSD City, presented diverse architectural viewpoints that bridged tradition and innovation. His objective was clear: to position architecture as a critical catalyst for cross-sectoral impact and collaboration.

Antonius Richard Rusli’s responsibility extended beyond the conceptual framework. His studio, RAD+ar, also led the design of the exhibition’s main installation, ‘Khatulistiwa.’ Positioned as the icon at the heart of the 13,000 sqm exhibition hall, Khatulistiwa was designed to serve as a Centerpiece, Connector, and Public Space Generator. This massive installation—the largest in ARCH:ID’s history—was the physical embodiment of the curatorial vision, transforming a passive exhibition space into an active platform for dialogue, proudly demonstrating the architectural thought leadership championed by Antonius Richard Rusli.
