RAD+ar has been named a finalist in two categories at the World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2025 for its project Chicken Hero Pavilion. The pavilion, conceived as a four-week temporary structure, is designed to inspire backyard poultry practices while promoting proactive sustainability for individuals and communities.

Presented in the categories of “Display Architecture” and “Small Project of the Year,” Chicken Hero Pavilion reflects RAD+ar’s belief that architecture can spark meaningful change at every scale. Through its thoughtful design, the pavilion merges contemporary construction with ecological responsibility, creating an engaging space that invites the public to rethink their relationship with food, nature, and self-sufficiency.

This recognition at WAF 2025 affirms RAD+ar’s dedication to adaptive and human-centered design, proving that even temporary and small-scale projects can carry significant cultural and environmental impact. The studio is honored to present Chicken Hero Pavilion on the global stage in Singapore this October, alongside some of the world’s most innovative architectural works.
